Jeanette Stanley (Bonnie) Wright, 75, of Appomattox, died July 1, 2015, in Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was the wife of the late Walter Murrel (Dickie) Wright.

Born in Lynchburg, Va., on April 16, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Lillian Doss and Clarence H. Stanley. She retired from Thomasville Furniture.

She is survived by three daughters, Annette Carter, Brenda Johnson both of Appomattox, and Hope Wright-Purvis and husband, Donald of Madison Heights; a son, Michael Carter of Lynchburg; a brother, C. H. "Pete" Stanley, Jr. of Lynchburg; a sister, Patsy McNeil of Austin, Texas; six grandchildren, Kevin Carter and Melissa, Matthew Carter and wife, LeAnn, Jeremy Carter and wife, Courtney, Scottie Allen, Cassidy Purvis, and Shane Purvis.; two great-grandchildren, Lacy and Noah; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Leo Carter, Jr. and Gary Carter.

A memorial service will be held at 7 pm, Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Jonathan Watson. The family will receive friends following the service.
