Jean Carol Moore Seay, 84, of Mount Rush Highway, Dillwyn, died Sunday, February 9, 2020 at her residence. She was the loving wife of the late William Richard Seay.
Born in Appomattox, August 27, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Rachel Hunter and Thomas Edgar Moore. Jean was a member of Antioch-Union Baptist Church. She retired from Thomasville after 20 years of service, after retirement she was the secretary for Seay Logging.
She is survived by two children, Rhonda Seay McFalls and husband, Billy Ray of Buckingham, and Richard Dwayne Seay of Franklin; five grandchildren, Lutisha, Samantha, Josh, Emma and Hunter; three great-granddaughters, Makayla, Samantha and Haley; one sister, Sandra Moore Martin and husband, Robert of Appomattox.
A graveside funeral service officiated by Deacon Larry Fish will be held 2p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2020, in Union Cemetery, 2135 Austin Road, Gladstone.
