Jean Elizabeth Jones Martin, 87, of Leesville Road, Lynchburg, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021.  She was the wife of Richard Hunter Martin for 69 years.

Born in Atlanta, GA, November 25, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Ruby Flock and Casey Jones.  Jean was a member of Spout Spring Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Lawana "Molly" White of Concord and Bridget Millner of Appomattox; one sister, Judy Robinson of Smyrna, GA; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Willie Millner and Donald White; one granddaughter, Tammy Wright; and a sister, Carolyn Woods.

A private graveside service will be held at Spout Spring Baptist Church.
