Jean Carter Chenault, 83, of Acorn Drive, passed away February 10, 2021 at her residence.  She was the wife of the late Donald G. Chenault.

Born in Lynchburg, March 22, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Etta Gentry and Berkley Sanford Carter.  She was a member of Old Concord Presbyterian Church. Jean and her husband owned and operated Gold Coast T-Shirt for 25 years in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

She is survived by four children, Ricky Martin and wife, Tammy of Appomattox, Donald Chenault, Jr., and wife, Frances of Coral Springs, FL, Freda Broderson and husband, Aric of Appomattox and Mark Chenault and wife, Kelli of Williston, FL; one brother, Ronnie Carter and wife, Gail of Appomattox; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren,

She was preceded in death by one brother, James "Buddy" Berkley Carter.

A private memorial service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021.
