Jayne Pamela "Pam" Carter Moore, 67, of Dogwood Apartments, Appomattox, died Thursday, February 24, 2022.

Born in Lynchburg, on September 23, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Ethel Guill and Charles M. Carter.  Pam was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Tanya Turner and Keith Word of Lynchburg, and Tara Adams and husband, Kevin of Appomattox; one sister, Brenda McConville of Lynchburg; eight grandchildren, William "Ashton" Moore and Cierra Fowler, Kierra Turner and Jack Griffin, Kendrick Word, Christian "Devante" Adams and Cassidy Adams, Brandon Adams, Kaylee Adams, Ava Adams and Jaxon Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters, one grandson, Michael Adams; and a great-grandchild, Amari Adams.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, February 28, 2022, at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Childress officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Robinson Funeral Home.
