Jason Max Marcus, Sr., 40, of Spout Spring, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022.

He is survived by his parents, Barry Dale Marcus Sr., and Janie S. Marcus of Spout Spring; his wife, Brittany Nicole Marcus; seven children, Austin Lee Marcus, Allison Brooke Marcus, Jason Max "Bubby" Marcus, Jr., Jayden Bryce Marcus, Dylan Christopher Tracy, Landon Jayce Marcus, and Troy Dale Woodford Marcus and his mother, April Dunbar; a stepdaughter, Alexis Nicole King; three grandchildren, Rhylyn, Rhylee, and Everly; two brothers, Barry Dale Marcus, Jr. and wife, Julia of Lynchburg and Joseph Donald Marcus and wife, Heather of Spout Spring; four nephews; and a host aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jason was born on August 8, 1982, in Lynchburg, VA and was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. He had a passion for motorcycles and automobiles and loved spending time tinkering on them. Jason will be remembered for his huge heart and willingness to help anyone.

A private memorial service will be held.
