Betty Jane Inge Cyrus Woody, 65, of Forest died Monday, February 3, 2014 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the widow of Harry Woody.

Jane was born in Lynchburg, VA on November 27, 1948 a daughter of the late Alice Smith and Holmsey Inge, Jr. She was a homemaker and member of Rocks Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Jason Cyrus and wife Angie; a daughter Jennifer C. Smith and Tommy Sadler all of Spout Spring; a sister, Marion Garrett of Appomattox; grandchildren, Jonathon and Justin Smith, Owen Cyrus and Tristan Hensley; friend and father of her children, Jimmy Cyrus; step-children, David Woody and wife Dana, Monica Woody; step-grandchildren, Cameron Glasgow, Mina Adams, Lucas, Lainey, Lauryn & Liza Woody; numerous nieces and nephews; care givers Janee, Debbie, Lisa, Pam, Crystal & Michelle, the Palliative Care Team & MICU staff; and her dog, Digger, her sidekick and best friend.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Ferguson and two brothers, Kenneth Inge and Larry Dean Inge.

Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Toney Bell.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday night February 6, 2014 from 7-8:30 P.M. and other times at Jennifer's home, 541 Jenny Lane, Spout
Spring.
