James Hubard Snow

James Hubard Snow, 72, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

Born in Nelson County, VA on June 22, 1953, he was the son of the late Dexter Hubard Snow and Edna Lee Beasley.

In his earlier years, James was a great athlete. He ran track at Duke University and was captain of the football team. He was also an animal lover.

He is survived by his niece, Robin Branch and husband, Jeff Elder; and numerous other nieces.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Snow; and two half-brothers, Charles Douglas Branch and Slick Branch.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 1, 2026, in the House of Prayer with Pastor Jeff Worley officiating.
