Obituary
Appomattox: James Daniel Riley, 93, died Thursday, May 31, 2007 in Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Viola Jefferson Riley.
Born in Appomattox County, September 17, 1913, he was a son of the late George Washington and Hettie Viar Riley. James was a retired farmer.
Two sisters, Lucille R. Burks and Betty Sue Watson, preceded him in death.
He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 3, 2007 in Herman Methodist Cemetery by the Rev. David B. Camden.
