James Booker "Jimmie" Davis, 82, of Lynchburg, died Sunday, November 26, 2023, at his residence. He was married for 50 years to the late Martha Lindsey Davis.

Born in Lynchburg, January 27, 1941.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Bell Davis.  Jimmie retired from Framatome.  He enjoyed playing golf, going to classic car shows, cruise-ins and hanging out with his garage buddies. Jimmie was blessed with many special friends that he enjoyed talking to daily.  He never met a stranger.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Garrett and husband, Jeff; one granddaughter, Hudson Elizabeth Robertson; brother-in-law, Gerald Lindsey; and special friend, Jean Nowakowski.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home.
