James Dale Carter's Obituary
James Dale Carter, 66, of Chestnut Mt. Rd., Concord, died Thursday, September 23, 2010, at his residence.
Born in Lynchburg, on September 25, 1943, he was a son of the late Aubrey Randolph Carter and Mary Lake Galliher Carter. He was a retired employee of G. E. and a US Navy Veteran.
He is survived by two brothers, Randolph H. Carter of Madison Heights and Ralph Dean Carter and his wife, Stella of Evergreen; a sister, Ida Lois Carter Hudson and husband, Homer of Lynchburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Iris Lou Carter McCombie and a brother, Robert Boyd Carter.
