James Samuel Bryant, Jr., "Jamie", 39, died Monday, March 13, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Lynchburg, September 4, 1966, he was the son of James Samuel Bryant Sr. and wife, Terri of Appomattox and Jane Heath Sargent and husband, Joseph of Huddleston. Jamie was a wonderful brother and devoted father. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a mechanic and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a son, Cory Seth Bryant of Lynchburg; a sister, Cristy B. Moore and husband, Todd of Forest and four aunts, Patsy Smoot and husband, Larry of Lynchburg, Irene Norman and husband, Rogers of Appomattox, Vernelle Harris of Sandston and Barbara Bryant of Concord.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, March 17, 2006 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeff Worley with burial following in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7-8:30 pm and at other times at his residence.
