Obituary

James "Jim" Alfred Midgley, 72, of Rustburg, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of Theresa Gale Thompson Midgley.

Born in Poteau, Oklahoma, January 14, 1945, he was the son of the late Stella Frances Qualls and William Alfrad Midgley. He retired from Aerofin Corporation as a Cost Accountant. Jim was a US Army Medical Corp. Veteran.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Kevin James Midgley and wife, Lori Ann of Madison Heights; a daughter, Laura Lynn Brightwell and husband, Robbie of Madison Heights; two step-children, David Allen Wills and wife, Kary of Concord, and Andrea Daniele Wills and Robbie Sparrow of Madison Heights; two sisters, Lottie Davison of Tulsa, OK, Elloise Branscum of Broken Arrow, OK; eight grandchildren, Brinna, Grayson, Mikayla, Hunter, Lynn Allen, Zachary, Sydney and Logan; a brother-in-law, Marvin Thompson; a sister-in-law, Catherine Hamlett and husband, Robert; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12 until 6 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2017 at his residence.
