Jacqueline Barbara Thompson, (given name, Keali'iwahinenohea Davidson), 81, of Pamplin, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband William Floyd Thompson.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on May 4, 1940, the adopted daughter of the late Rosie Costa and Solomon Nuuhiwa and the biological child of Anna Kamaka Davidson and Howard Slade. She was a retired bar manager and housekeeping manager for Sheraton Hotels. Jacqueline spent her life living for her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a lover of all things Hawaiian.
She is survived by sons, Norman L. Carroll and Richard Padgett of Monroe; two daughters, Suki Matsuhashi of South Jordan, Utah and Penny West and husband, Tommy of Pamplin; two sisters, Henrietta Egami of Hawaii and Victoria Barkley; old friend, Robert "Lucky" Carroll; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews in Hawaii and throughout the states.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
