Jacqueline Moseley McGinnis, 86, of Forest, passed away on March 9, 2018. She was born January 20, 1932 in Lynchburg, daughter of the late Ward Winston Moseley and Ella Mae Moseley. Jackie was a graduate of E.C. Glass High School, and Randolph Macon Women's College. Jackie was retired from the City of Lynchburg Department of Social Services.

She leaves to cherish her memory her two children; Mary-Winston Deacon (David), and Chuck McGinnis (Cindy) both of Forest. Additionally, her four grandchildren; John Deacon of Charlottesville, Katie Shepherd (Cameron) of Forest, Ella McGinnis of Forest, Kathryn McGinnis of Forest and one great-grandchild, Caroline Shepherd of Forest.

The family wishes to thank all who assisted Jackie in the last couple of years, as well as the staff at Lynchburg General Hospital for their heartfelt care.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 1695 Perrowville Road, Forest. A reception will follow the service in the church parish hall. A private interment will take place at a later date.
