Jack David "JD" Price

Jack David “JD” Price, 64, of Pamplin, VA passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the loving husband of the late Linda Fulcher Price for 46 years.

Born in Lynchburg, VA on January 7, 1962, he was the son of the late Curtis H. Price and Peggy L. Price.

JD was a good family man and provider, working hard his whole life. He worked 40 plus years with Asplundh Tree Company and became a supervisor. He has always had a passion for cars and trucks and a need for speed on the open road. Later in life he turned to his Bible for strength and healing. His favorite bible verse was Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

JD is survived by his son, David Hart Price; stepson, Chad Fulcher; stepdaughter, Uthresha Branham; granddaughter, Desiree Long; sister, Sue Robison and husband, Tommy; and niece, Connie Horton and husband, Billy.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tonya Price Long, and sisters, Barbara Gibson and husband, Roger and Linda Mosley and husband, Archie.

A special thanks from JD’s sister Sue Robinson to niece Connie Horton and husband, Billy, for always being there when I need you.

JD will be lovingly remembered by his devoted sister Sue Robinson who dedicated her time to caring for and supporting him.

JD will always be loved deeply, missed, and never forgotten. Memories are forever
