Obituary

Isabelle Knight Franklin, 80, of Double Bridges Road, Spout Spring, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Elmo Horace Franklin.

Born in Tennessee, on December 29, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Irene and Woodrow Knight. She was a member of Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by five daughters, Cheryl Mullins and husband, Paul of Appomattox, Holly Anthony and husband, Larry of Appomattox, Mary Hamlett and husband, Lonny of Pamplin, Pamela Kidd and husband, Milton of Buckingham, and Shawna Rankins and husband, Billy of Lynchburg; two sons, David Franklin and Mark Franklin and fiancée, Tammy Carter both of Spout Springs; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, David Elmo Franklin and Jerry W. Franklin; a granddaughter, Shana Franklin; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Robinson Funeral Home by Bishop Bob Phillips. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 7-8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence.
