Irma Fleshman Phelps, 69, of Church Street, Appomattox, died Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at Guggenheimer Health and Rehab. She was the wife of the late Frank L. Phelps.

Born in Virginia on December 17, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Agnes Ranson and Woodrow Wilson Fleshman. She was retired from Thomasville Furniture.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany Phelps and Steve "Junior" Seay, Jr. of Appomattox; a son, Daniel L. Phelps of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Angel, Amber, and Aime Seay, and Oakley Phelps; step-daughter, Tina Nichols; five step-grandchildren; Josh and Justin Ellis, Crystal and Kim Page, and Jonathan Nichols; two brothers, W. Rayford Fleshman and Gary Fleshman; and a sister, Debra Fleshman Hendricks all of Appomattox.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Wilson Fleshman and a step-daughter, Lisa Ellis.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, September 12, 2019, at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Chad Harris. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Robinson Funeral Home.
