Obituary

RED HOUSE: Julia Irene Bryant Norman, 71, of 202 Red House Rd., died Sunday August 13, 2006 at her residence. She was the wife of William Rogers Norman.
Born in Appomattox Co., September 15, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie James and Julia Ethel Bryant. Mrs. Norman was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was the oldest living member at the time of her death.
She is survived by her son Howard L. Rosen, Jr. of Dillwyn; a daughter Dianne Catlin and her husband Michael of Altavista; a brother, James Samuel (Sammy) Bryant and wife Terri of Appomattox; two sisters Barbara Bryant of Concord, and Vernell Harris of Sandston; three grandchildren, Angela Whorley of Lynchburg, Stuart Lane Rosen, and Travis Michael Rosen both of Charlotte, NC; four great-grandchildren, Kali Walker, Payton, Dillon, and Mataya Rosen.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 15, 2006, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:30 pm Monday, August 14, 2006 at Robinson Funeral Home.
