Irene H. Franklin

Evergreen: Irene Hall Franklin, wife of the late Charles Edward "Ed" Franklin, died peacefully Friday morning, December 16, 2005, at her residence.
Born November 6, 1919 in Halifax Co., she was a daughter of the late Isemon and Rebecca Nichols Hall. Irene was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church and was a former employee of the Farmville Craddock & Terry and Courtland Mfg. in Appomattox.
She is survived by her sister, Elsie McKinney of Lynchburg; three sisters-in-law, Thelma, Louise and Emma; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Robinson Funeral Home with burial to be held in Evergreen Cemetery.
Family and friends may have a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 pm, Tuesday and lasting until the time of the service.
