Hilda Davidson Ferguson, 73, of Annie Street, Appomattox, died Friday night June 6, 2014 at her residence. She was the wife of Edward Marshall (Bully) Ferguson, Sr.
Hilda was born in Appomattox County a daughter of the late Noonie Reed and Curtis Twyman (Curt) Davidson. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and a retired employee of Lynchburg Foundry – Archer Creek.
In addition to her husband, Bully, Hilda is survived by three sons, Edward M Ferguson, Jr. and his wife Delores, Michael K. (Mike) Ferguson and his wife Sheila all of Appomattox, Terry L. Ferguson and his wife Melissa of Spout Spring; Hilda and Bully loved all their grandchildren, Shannon F. Joy and her husband Michael, Bryan Ferguson and his wife Noelle, Brandon Ferguson, Kendra Ferguson, Haley Ferguson, Kylie Ferguson and Ashton Ferguson; great-grandchildren, Sommer Ferguson, Leann Jones and Austin Ferguson; three sisters, Gladys D. Gallier, Maxine D. Guill and husband Pete all of Appomattox, Teresa D. Brown and husband Terrell of Lynchburg.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Clydie D. Jones and a brother, James Larkin Davidson.
Funeral service will held 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 9, 2014 in Bible Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Jonathan Watson and the Rev. Robert E. Lee. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
