Obituary
Herbert Lyle Godsey, 85, of Appomattox, died Monday, November 3, 2008 in the Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Appomattox County, April 28, 1923, he was a son of the late Alfonse Godsey and Nannie Odella Mann Godsey. Lyle served in the US Army during WWII and was a retired pharmacist assistant for Revco.
He is survived by a brother, Jack Godsey; a sister, Lucille Johnson both of Lynchburg and a sister-in-law, Shirley Godsey of Appomattox.
