Henry Twyman Pierce, Sr., 66, of Spout Spring, VA, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born in Lynchburg, VA, on October 30, 1958, he was the son of the late Flora Mae Puckett Pierce and Henry Geter Pierce. Henry had a strong work ethic. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by four children, Angela Wood of Gladstone, VA, Stacie Morgan and husband, Danny, Henry T. Pierce Jr. and wife, Laura, and Jonathan Pierce, all of Appomattox, VA; one brother, Mark Pierce and wife, Kathy of Altavista; two sisters, Carolyn P. Conner and Michelle Pierce, both of Appomattox; ten grandchildren, Ashley, Kaylie, Tony, Tyler, Jasmine, Malasia, Angel, Joe, Summer, and Colton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law H. Ray Conner, Sr.

A funeral service will be held at 5 pm on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Jeff Worley. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the home of his son, Jonathan Pierce, at 592 Berry Lane, Appomattox, VA, 24522.
