Obituary
Helga Betti Gascoyne, 86, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, October 2, 2023. She was the wife of the late John Bernard Gascoyne.
Born in Karlsruhe, Germany on June 22, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Richard Ritter and Frieda Baberger. Helga was a member of Mt. Comfort Methodist Church and a former employee of Penelope's Inc.
She is survived by two children, Christine Lyttle and husband, Joseph, and Wayne Kelly and wife, Nadia; and one grandson, Patrick Kelly.
She was preceded in death by her sister.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Mt. Comfort Methodist Church.
