Obituary
Concord – Mrs. Helen Coleman Carroll, 93, of 152 Settlers Row died Thursday night November 10, 2005 at Lynchburg
Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Robert Louis Carroll.
Mrs. Carroll was born in Appomattox County August 9, 1912, a daughter of the late Walter and Mittie Nowlin Coleman. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Emily C. and Rod Henderson of Concord; her sister, Mrs. Lucye C. Dodd of Richmond; 4 grandchildren, Justin Henderson and his wife Rae of Concord; Deidra Henderson of Myrtle Beach, SC; Amy Wise of Suffolk and Diane Gillam of Harrisonburg; three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bob Carroll and a grandson, Will Henderson.
Graveside funeral services were conducted on Saturday November 12, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. in Concord Cemetery by the Rev. Trent Allen.
