Pamplin: Hattie Baldwin Richardson, 94, of Rt. 1, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005 in the Appomattox Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late James Everett Richardson.
Born in Pamplin, September 11, 1911, she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Allie Davis Baldwin. Mrs. Richardson was a homemaker and mother and a member of Piney Ridge United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by six sons and daughters-in-law, Henry N. and Shirley Richardson, B. G. and Brenda Richardson, Gene and Carolyn Richardson, Thomas W. and Rachel Richardson, Willie Ray and Wendy Richardson, and David Lee and Betty Richardson all of Pamplin; four daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel R. and Wayne Lee of Appomattox, Brenda R. and Charlie Brisentine of Pamplin, Shirley R. and Ralph Cheatham of Spout Spring, Margaret R. and Jimmy Davis of Pamplin; a brother, Wilson Baldwin of Pamplin; 26 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and two special caregivers, Mary Berkley and Teresa Ford.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, December 9, 2005 at Piney Ridge United Methodist Church by the Rev. Michael Day and the Rev. John Muth. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home today, Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, and at other times at the home of Margaret and Jimmy Davis, 1753 Little Cub Road, Pamplin, VA 23598.
