Obituary
Harold Freeman Carter, 66, died Thursday October 9, 2008 at Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation. Born in Appomattox, July 26, 1942, he was a son of the late Herman Freeman Carter, and Nannie Mae Almond McFadden Carter.
Harold was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a member of the Appomattox Volunteer Fire Department for 13 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Laura C. Page and her husband Tim of Appomattox; one brother Lloyd McFadden of Appomattox; one sister Laura M. Hamilton of Keysville; two grandchildren, Jenna Leigh Page of Forest, and Jacob Ian Page of Appomattox; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 P.M.Sunday, October 12, 2008, at Liberty Cemetery.
