H. B. (Sonny) Martin Jr.
Howlette Burge (Sonny) Martin Jr., of Saint James Place, Lynchburg was born August 25, 1932 and died October 12, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents Howlette Burge Martin and Estelle Dickerson Martin, and a brother, William Childs Martin.
Educated at Hampden-Sydney College, Mr. Martin retired as vice president of bank marketing for Integon Corporation of Winston-Salem, N.C. He maintained homes in Appomattox County and in Vero Beach, Florida prior to moving to Lynchburg for health reasons in 2003.
Burial in Fort Hill Memorial Park in Lynchburg will be private.
