Gwendolyn Faye Horton, 67, of Appomattox, died Monday, July 11, 2022, at Appomattox Health and Rehab.  She was the wife of the late Charles David Horton.

Born in El Paso, TX, November 29, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Vera Marie Humphrey and William Earl Mungle.

She is survived by her sons, Billy Horton and wife, Connie of Pamplin and Robert Horton of Appomattox; one brother, Danny Mungle and wife, Connie of Memphis, TN; one sister, Karen Johnson and husband, Charles of Paris, KY; two grandchildren, Billy Horton, Jr., and fiancé Summer Anderson of Chesterfield and Rachel Horton and fiancé Kenny Caudill of Appomattox; great-grandson, Mason Horton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Mungle and his wife, Julie; and her pug "Little Bit".
