Grey Harrison Puckett, Sr., 84, of Railview Rd., Naruna died Wednesday, August 15, 2012, in Virginia Baptist Skilled Care. He was the husband of Wilsie Harvey Puckett.

Born May 18, 1928 in Charlotte County, VA on Patrick Henry's Plantation, he was a son of the late Lillie Pillow and Richard Jennings Puckett. He was a member of Manassas Baptist Church and a retired farmer.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Grey H. Puckett, Jr. of Halifax; a step-daughter, Debbie Barlow Sigmon of South Carolina; a sister, Christine Fleshman of Red House; and two grandchildren, Grayson Jennings Puckett and Hunter Collins Puckett.

A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 19, 2012, in Evergreen Cemetery by his son, Grey H. Puckett, Jr. The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Saturday, from 7-8:30 p.m.
