Greta Lee Coffey 82, of Appomattox, died Tuesday, August 1, 2023.  She was the wife of the late Edward Cash Coffey.

Born in Virginia, August 22, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Flossie Parham and Paul Hayes, Sr.

She is survived by four children, Edna White of Eden, NC, Edward Coffey, Jr., of Appomattox, Ben Coffey and wife, Denise of Lynchburg and David Coffey of Appomattox; one brother, Paul Hayes, Jr., and wife, Nancy of Hampton; and one granddaughter Jessica White.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Michael Coffey.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
