Obituary
Gregory William Pilecki, 61, of Appomattox died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, on August 28, 1950, he was a son of Loretta G. Pilecki of Appomattox and the late John E. Pilecki. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Beverly Kreiss and her husband, William of New Brunswick, NJ and two nephews, William and Douglas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church officiated by Father Robert J. McEleney. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
The family suggests that memorials be sent to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 2938 Oakleigh Avenue, Appomattox, VA 24522.
