Gracie Jones Wilson, 82, of Pamplin passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at her residence.

Born on January 5, 1941, in Brookneal, Va., she was the daughter of the late Roy James Jones and Rosetta Shelton Jones. She was a member of Rocks Baptist Church where she served in many capacities including, serving in the choir, participating in the nursing home ministry, volunteering with VBS, Rocks Quilters, and Gleaning for the World.

She is survived by four sons, Richard F. Guill of Pamplin, Timothy K. Guill and wife, Daphne of Hardyville, James D. Guill of Madison Heights, and Roger B. Guill and wife, Wendy of Smithfield; six grandchildren, Beth Lawson and husband, Jacob, Gabrielle Bebermeyer and husband, Patrick, Noah Guill, Jonah Guill, Joshua Guill, and Juliette Guill; one great-grandson; Andrew J. Lawson; three siblings, Lynn Jones and wife, Ellen, Dorothy McFadden, and Eileen Baldwin all of Pamplin; sister-in-law, Patsy Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Lee Jones.

A funeral service will be held 11 am, Friday, November 10, 2023, at Rocks Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm, Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home.
