Grace Jamerson Neely, 100, of Lynchburg, died September 11, 2009, in Westminster Canterbury. She was the wife of the late Robert Russell Neely.
Born in Pamplin, October 11, 1908, she was a daughter of the late Bryant Thomas and Nannie Garrett Jamerson. Grace was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lynchburg, the Danville Wednesday Club, Co-Founder of the Bookshelf Book Club, and was active in many civic and church organizations in Danville. For 32 years she worked in the Administration Office at Stratford College in Danville.
She is survived by one sister, Frances Raine of Lynchburg, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 13, 2009, at Pamplin United Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert Green. Interment will follow at Pamplin Community Cemetery.
