Gloria Christine Reed Reynolds
Gloria Reed Reynolds, 79, of Booth Drive, Appomattox, died Monday, November 10, 2014 at Appomattox Health and Rehab.
Born in Appomattox County, on December 24, 1934 she was a daughter of the late Sallie Elizabeth Elder and Thomas Wyatt Reed. Gloria was a member of Bethel Bible Church.
She is survived by a son James M. Reynolds and partner, Gary S. Williams of Monroe; a brother, Harry Reed of Chatham; two sisters, Margaret Helmick of Staunton and Minnie Dowdy of Altavista; three grandchildren, Shaun C. M. Reynolds, Eric V. Reynolds and Julie A. Martin; six great-grandchildren; a special niece, Sandra R. Pool; numerous loved nieces and nephews; and a dear friend Faye Doss.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Catherine (Dee) Reynolds, her husband, Robert Lee Reynolds; two brothers and one sister.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2014 at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Orville Gregory Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Robinson Funeral Home.
