Gloria Guiton Johnson, 83, formerly of Pamplin, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, in Avante at Lynchburg. She was the wife of the late Robert Harding Johnson.

Born in Leighton, PA, on November 25, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Kathryn Bordman and Dennis E. Guiton. She was a member of Beale Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa J. Drew of Monroe and Debbie Bryant and her husband, Walter of Ormond Beach, Fla.; a son, Dennis Robert Johnson and wife, Laurie of Alexandria; a sister, Denise Ginty and husband, Dan of Morristown, NJ; seven grandchildren, Robbie Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Robert Drew, Christopher Drew, Amanda Drew, Jeremy Bryant, Kyle Bryant; a great grandson, Aiden Johnson; and two nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 1, 2014, in Beale Memorial Presbyterian Church, Pamplin by Rev. Bob Winston.
