GLORIA A. GUNTER
Spout Spring – Gloria May Andrews Gunter, 78, of 4913 Reedy Springs Road, died Sunday morning January 15, 2006 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anderson Gunter.
Gloria was born in Petersburg, VA on March 23, 1927 a daughter of the late James Claude and Myrtle Vaughan Andrews. She was a member of Old Concord Presbyterian Church and was a retired restaurant Manager for Ramada Inn.
She is survived by two sons, Sammy Gunter and his wife, Mary; and Buck Gunter and his wife, Martha; nine grandchildren and five Great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, J.E. Herndon and his wife, Penney and more friends than anyone could count. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy Gunter Herndon and Gloria Jean Gunter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday January 18, 2006 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Sammy Gunter. Burial will follow in Stonewall Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-8:30 P.M. Tuesday, and at other times at the home of Sammy and Mary Gunter 217, Woodbridge Lane.
