Glenwood Ned Page, Sr., 80, of Appomattox passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, at his residence. He was married to Patricia Perry Page for 59 years.

Born on October 8, 1941, in Appomattox County, he was the son of the late George Washington Page and Virginia Lucado Page. He was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church. He worked at Lynchburg Foundry and retired after 42 years. Ned enjoyed hunting, fishing, and race cars.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Glenn Page, Jr. of Lynchburg, David W. Page and wife, Delores of Amherst, and Sharon P. Campbell of Lynchburg; six grandchildren and three great- grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Harrison and Annie Steele; two brothers, David C. Page and wife, Carolyn and Clyde S. Page and wife, Cora Mae; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

A graveside service will be held 2 pm, Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Bud Reid officiating.
