Glenn E. Irby, 70, of Concord went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Born on December 10, 1954, he was the fourth child of the late Terrence E. and Rebecca H. "Becky" Irby of Gladys.

Glenn's primary career path was that of an Insurance Agent for 34 years. He also worked as a part-time Insurance Continuing Education instructor for 10 years. A Christian by God's Election and Calling at age 27, Glenn served the Lord by God's Grace for the balance of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Morrison Irby of 42 years; his son, Nathaniel Z. Irby and wife, Ashley and children, Miley, Ryder, and Colson all of Appomattox; his daughter, Kelly Espenscheid and husband Derek and their children Collin, Karleigh, Kimber, Kamryn, Danlen, Phillip, Keigan, Rowick, and Quinn all of South Carolina; two brothers, Joey Irby of Gladys, and Johnny Irby of Danville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Dora Lee Irby; and a brother William "Billy" Zachary Irby.

A memorial service will be held 2pm, Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Watson officiating.
