Gladys Davidson Gallier, 81, of Jones Street, Appomattox went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

Born in Appomattox County, Va., on March 27, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Noonie A. Reed and Curtis T. Davidson. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and retired from Archer Creek Foundry.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa D. Doss (Les) of Montana and Gwen A. Ollivarri (David) of Appomattox; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Amy Wilson Lowe (Tommy) of Evington and their children, Baylee and Ayden; Jarred Price (Ashley) of Pamplin and their daughter, Kiah; and Jamie Patria of Appomattox and his son, Tristan; two sisters, Mackie D. Guill (Pete) of Appomattox and Teresa D. Brown (Terrell) of Lynchburg; and the love of her life, Claude W. Gallier, Jr.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gayla Lee Scruggs; a brother, Larkin Davidson; and two sisters, Hilda M. Ferguson and Clydia Jones.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Friday, June 29, 2018, at Robinson Funeral Home by Pastor Jonathan Watson with burial following in Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at her residence on Thursday, June 28, from 5 until 8 pm.
