Obituary
Gladys Almond Bryant, 94, of Lynchburg and Appomattox, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012. She was the wife of the late Vernon Thomas Bryant.
She is survived by her son, Bill Bryant of Nashville, TN.
Born in Lynchburg, VA, on June 27, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Letcher Tony and Gracie Wright Almond. She and her husband both retired from Appomattox Garment Company. Gladys was a loyal wife, mother and friend and she will be greatly missed.
A graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012, in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
