Ginger Kay Higgerson, 66, of Appomattox, VA, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at her home. She was the wife of Richard Wayne Higgerson.

Born in Fairfax, VA, on May 31, 1959, she was the daughter of Betty Hart George and the late Harold George.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Jacob Higgerson, Joseph Higgerson, and Deanna Higgerson; one brother, Dwayne George and wife, Jeanette; five grandchildren, Logan, Khloe, Sophia, Josias and Dillon.

She was preceded in death by one son, James Higgerson and wife Michelle; and one sister, Debbie.
