Geraldine Ayers (Gerry) Guill, 69, of Confederate Blvd., Appomattox, died September 11, 2014 at her residence. She was the wife of the late James Ronald (Ronnie) Guill, Sr., for 52 years.

Gerry was born in Lynchburg April 26, 1945 a daughter of the late Lockie McFadden and William Henry Ayers, Sr. She was a member of Bethel Bible Church and was the co-owner and secretary of Appomattox Home Improvement Co. Gerry also retired from Thomasville Furniture and Kroger.

Gerry is survived by her children, James Ronald (Ron) Guill, Jr. and Todd Guill; and Cheryl G. Massie and her special friend, Carroll Mann all of Appomattox; brothers, Robert (Bobby) Ayers and wife Tammy of Jacksonville, NC and Mike Ayers and wife, Dale of Lynchburg; three grandchildren, Autumn Guill, Austin Guill and Corey Massie; numerous nieces and nephews; special caregiver, Kandis Wood; sisters at heart, Faye Crowe, Lucy Litchford, Dorothy Martin and Georgia DeGrange; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Guill of Appomattox; sister-in-law, Brenda Ayers of Lynchburg, brother-in-law, Eugene Guill and his wife, Elaine of Appomattox and her constant canine companion "Lucy".
She was preceded in death by brothers, W.H. (Billy) Ayers and George Ronald (Slinky) Ayers.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday September 14, 2014 at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Orville Gregory, Rev. Blonnie Gregory and Rev. Darryl Martin. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
