Gerald Wayne Hornal, 68, of Riverview Lane, Concord, died, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Barbara Brunzel Hornal.

Born in St. Louis, MO, March 3, 1950, he was a son of the late Betty Overbey and Thomas Lee Hornal. Gerald was a 1 ^st Sergant in the United States Army.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Jason Hornal of Newport News, Jennifer Dean and husband, Craig of Belleville, IL and Stephanie Deaver and husband, Marcus of Baytown, TX; one brother, Donald Hornal and wife, Cheryl of Shelton, WA; two sisters, Dawn Floyd and husband, George of Concord, April Stewart and husband, Dennis of Robinson IL; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, David Hornal.
