George James (Bud) Pritchette, 86, of Woodchuck Drive, Appomattox, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007. He was the husband of the late Mildred Lucille King Pritchette.
Born in Ohio, March 1, 1921, he was a son of the late George James Pritchette, Sr. and Ellen Rose Webber Pritchett. He was a Navy Veteran serving in World War II, a retired electronics technician and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
He is survived by five children, Susanne P. Wood and husband, Wally of Appomattox, Margaret (Peggy) P. Morgenroth of Redding, CA, John Joseph Pritchette and wife, Nuria of Kent, WA, Sheila P. Cox and husband, Thomas of Simi Valley, CA, and Elizabeth P. Riddle and husband, Eric of Santa Clarita, CA; brother-in-law, Thomas (Coog) Gargan of Denver, CO; sister-in-law, Phyllis Leola Graves of Ft. Collins, CO; 13 grandchildren including Tom and Earlene Kellogg and numerous great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Everett Pritchette, sister, Maryanne P. Gargan, and two granddaughters, Melanie Jeanne Kellogg and Jeanne Marie Morgenroth.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2007 at Robinson Funeral Home by Father Jim Gallagher and Dr. Robert Alderman.
Interment will take place at a later date in Eternal Valley Memorial Park, Newhall, CA.
