Gail Webb Craft, 78, of Appomattox, died Wednesday, September 14, 2022.  She was the loving wife of William H. "Willie" Craft.

Born in Appomattox County, on July 3, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Ruby Jenkins Webb and George Monroe Webb.  Gail was a member of Grace Hills Baptist Church where she worked with the Good Neighbor Ministry. She graduated from Appomattox High School and retired from Farmers Bank after 40 years of service.  Prior to her retirement she had been promoted to Vice President and Branch Manager.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Todd Craft and wife, Betty of Appomattox, Kristi Adair of Princeton, WV, and Keith Allen Webb of Bedford; one sister, Carol Goin and husband, Marshall of Appomattox; six grandchildren, Quinton Craft, Dillon Adair, Shelbina Braswell, Joseph Adair, Carter Webb and Dustin Webb; and one great- grandchild, Rheia Braswell.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Webb and Allen Webb.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Grace Hills Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Lee, Pastor Gary Dalton and Guss Paulette officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
