Fred L. West, 82, of Trent Hatchery Road, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at his residence.
Born in Roanoke Rapids, NC, March 3, 1933, he was a son of the late Reba Sevis and Fred Leon West, Sr. Fred was a retired Chief Petty Officer after serving 23 years in the Navy, and he was an avid golfer.
He is survived by a son, Kenny West of Northern VA; a daughter, Shannon West of GA; and two grandchildren.
