Fred Eugene "Peewee" Seay, 79, of Lakeview Road, Appomattox died Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at his residence.

Born in Appomattox County, Va., on August 8, 1939, he was the son of the late Hallie Katherine Seay. He was a member of Thomas Terrace Baptist Church and retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Fred is survived by his wife, Shirley Overstreet Seay and a daughter, Teresa Lydon of Raleigh, N.C.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Robinson Funeral Home by Pastor Mark Grooms. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
