Fred Hundley Moore, 85, of Appomattox, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Heritage Green Assisted Living and Memory Care. He was the husband of the late Mildred Seamster Redd Moore.

Born in Charlotte County, on July 9, 1939, he was the son of the late Carrie Johnson Moore and Robert "Buck" V. Moore. Fred worked for the Appomattox Garment Factory for 12 years and retired from Thomasville after 25 years of employment. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.

He is survived by three siblings, R.D. "Bob" Moore, Forest, Va, Betty M. Ramsey, Madisonville, Va, Fay M. Bartley, Rustburg, Va; two sisters-in-law, JoAnne Dawson and Izetta Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Moore and James Moore.

A funeral will be held at 11am, Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Norman Ramsey. A private family burial will be held at Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will welcome friends to visit with them following the service at Robinson Funeral Home, Appomattox.
