Fred Crowe, Jr., 87, of Appomattox, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. He was the husband of the late Audrey Faye Crowe.

Born in Trumann, Arkansas, May 28, 1931, he was a son of the late Vera Adams and Rachel Crowe. Fred was an active member of Bible Baptist Church. He retired from Limitorque.

Fred is survived by two daughters, Rowana Newman and husband, Steve and Mechelle Eagle and husband, Ronnie all of Appomattox; seven grandchildren, Chad Crain, Kellie Gallier and husband, James, Jason Elliott and wife, Erin, Amanda Price, Randall Elliott and wife, Lynn, Melissa Price, and Lindsay Melvin and husband, Josh; 14 great-grandchildren, Camryn, Brendan, Ian, Cadyn, MaKenzie, Payton, Layla, Gunner, Jace, Rowan, Braelynn, Remy, Madelyn and Knox; one brother, W.H. Brown and wife, Jan of Baton Rouge, LA; one sister Carolyn Craig of Jonesboro, AK; two special sisters, Lucy Litchford, and Dorothy Martin and her husband, Bennie.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Brown.

A funeral service celebrating his life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Watson and Rev. Darrell Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at his residence.
